Best Time to Visit Assam

Assam can be visited throughout the year but the best time to plan a visit can be in winters and summers which is November to March. Monsoon season from July till September should be avoided because heavy rains might not allow.

How to Reach Assam

By Air: Only international airport in this state is in Guwahati. The Domestic airports are Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, North Lakhimpur and Silchar.

By Rail: The major cities of India are well connected to Assam by rail.

By Road: Good network of National highways and other roads connects the state to the major cities of the country.
